Continued cloud cover with warmer temperatures
Sunday will see persistent low-lying cloud cover, with temperatures reaching the low 40s. A clipper system will bring snow showers to the Iron Range and North Shore, with lighter snowfall expected as far south as central Minnesota.
Mild Saturday night with cloudy skies
Cloudy skies will persist through Saturday evening, with lows only dropping into the mid-30s. On Sunday, a clipper system will bring light snow accumulations to the northland and North Shore, while the Twin Cities may experience a light rain/snow mix.
Cloudy and calm conditions for Saturday
The weather this weekend will be relatively calm, with mostly cloudy skies. High temperatures will stay above average for this time of year, but a significant cool-down is expected for the Thanksgiving week. There is a chance of light rain or snow showers late Sunday into Monday, particularly in northern Minnesota.
Milder through the weekend. Light snow and colder air coming next week
We’ll see peeks of sun Friday with lighter winds. Temperatures will run slightly above normal through Sunday, but a clipper system will bring light snow, sprinkles and colder air through next week.
Significant improvement made in drought conditions
Significant progress has been made in improving drought conditions, with the most notable change occurring in the severe drought category. The situation has been greatly alleviated thanks to beneficial rainfall.
Continued windy and mostly cloudy Thursday, some sun Friday
Thursday will be another mostly cloudy and windy day. Temps will be slightly warmer in eastern Minnesota, near 40. Friday offers some peeks of sun before clouds fill back in Saturday.
