Good sleeping weather. It’s a phase the old-timers used when I was younger. Our current air mass features windows-open, cooler breezes with comfy air temperatures for a good night’s sleep.
We enjoy plenty of sunshine right through the upcoming weekend as high pressure dominates our blue Minnesota skies.
A brisk northeast breeze is pushing cooler more comfortable air across Minnesota Wednesday. On the map below, you can see temperatures in the 50s around Lake Superior with winds off the still frigid waters.

Overnight low temperatures early Thursday morning will be on the frigid side in much of northern Minnesota.

Thursday brings another refreshingly cool day with highs in the 60s across much of our state.

July preview ahead
The weekend and first part of next week will feel more July than may in Minnesota. Highs on Friday will push back into the 80s.

Next week could bring temperatures to near 90 degrees in much of western Minnesota.

One thing to keep in mind is our warm dry breezy weather is creating elevated fire danger across much of Minnesota these days. Our dew points in the 30s have been lower than much of Arizona this week!
