Clear skies overnight with subzero temperatures continuing
We’re nearly out of the deep freeze! Another cold subzero night ahead, with lows dipping into the single digits and teens below zero. As skies clear overnight, Thursday will bring sunshine and a warmer day, with highs climbing back into the double digits above zero!
Deep freeze arrives tonight with extreme cold warning
A deep freeze will move into the region Sunday night, bringing dangerously cold wind chills that will last through mid-week. Expect dry weather all week with no snow, and a gradual warming trend as we head into next weekend.
Single-digit temperatures with sunshine expected on Sunday, bitterly cold conditions ahead
February sunshine with temperatures in the single-digits above zero for Sunday. An arctic high pressure system will usher in some of the coldest air of the season, with wind chill values plunging to 30, 40, and even 50 degrees below zero.
Light snow chances followed by arctic chill
A slight disturbance will bring light snow chances, primarily to areas near and east of the metro area, on Saturday night, with only minor accumulations expected. High pressure will then settle in, ushering in a harsh arctic air mass that will dominate the week, bringing extremely cold temperatures.
