Temperatures will dip Sunday night to 15 to 25 degrees below zero.

When you factor in a northwest wind at 5-15 mph, wind chills are expected to range between 30 and 45 degrees below zero.

Subzero temperatures will grip the state on Monday, but there will be plenty of February sunshine.

Single-digit highs are in the forecast for Tuesday and Wednesday, with an extreme cold watch issued for Tuesday morning as wind chills once again dive into the 30s and 40s below zero.
Due to the cold weather, there will be no chances for snow this week. The second half of February is shaping up to be dry, with above-average temperatures expected.

After the deep freeze, temperatures will return to seasonal highs on Saturday. A nice warming trend will bring temperatures in the 30s and possibly even the 40s back to the forecast, providing some relief from the cold.
