We’ve got another frigid night on the way with lows falling into the teens and 20s below zero. Wednesday will remain below normal but temps warm quickly this weekend.

Arctic air begins to depart after Wednesday 

Extreme cold warnings continue Tuesday night north and west with cold weather advisories southeast, including the Twin Cities into early Wednesday. 

We’re in for another frigid Tuesday night. Temps will dip into the teens and 20s below zero again across the state. Most readings will be a few degrees warmer than the last couple of nights. Wind chills will be between 25 below and 40 below zero.

Wednesday will still be well below normal with highs mostly in the single digits. Some spots will still see subzero highs in western Minnesota.

There will also be some snow showers in northeastern Minnesota Wednesday as we see increased cloud cover statewide.

Temperatures really warm at the end of the week with widespread 30s by Saturday. Highs reach the 40s for southern Minnesota Sunday into next week.
