Target Center target: $121M update for Timberwolves home
The city of Minneapolis updated its Target Center renovation project site today, and it included this tidbit: contractor Mortenson now projects $97 million in construction alone, and a total cost of $121 million with all the "soft costs" thrown in.

Ryan Cos. was picked to build the new Lowertown ballpark, for the second time today. The first no-bid effort got tossed out, thanks in part to a legal challenge. But Ryan won the deal anway, in a three-way race that some sad was a foregone conclusion, anyway.
