on the legality of the NFL lockout, the federal judge overseeing
the case said she'd take "a couple of weeks" to rule on the
players' request to return to work.
Less than four months into her career as a federal judge, Susan Richard Nelson is responsible for deciding the fate of the NFL's lockout and, perhaps, the 2011 pro football season -- a daunting task with big-shot lawyers on
both sides and billions of dollars at stake. A hearing is scheduled for Wednesday in her courtroom in Minneapolis.
