the Capitol to meet with state lawmakers and encourage them to
support a bill to build a new football stadium for the team.
The jury in the Barry Bonds case has convicted the baseball superstar on charges of
obstruction of justice, but has deadlocked on other counts that Bonds lied to a grand jury in 2003 when he specifically denied that he knowingly used steroids and human growth hormone.
