Minnesota cannabis regulator on what's ahead for THC edibles
“You want to ensure that the consumers have a safe product, that what it says on the label is in the actual package,” the chief regulator of Minnesota’s fledgling THC edibles market tells MPR News, adding that her agency is ramping up inspection efforts.
October starts with heat after wet and warm September

The owners of Bodega 42, who hail from Mexico and El Salvador, say the journey has been long and the work has been hard. The end result is a nearly 22,000-square foot marketplace which also includes a butcher, deli and restaurant that offers authentic tastes of Latin America. 
New video showing Winston Smith firing a gun said to emerge
More than two years after sheriff’s deputies fatally shot Winston Smith in Minneapolis, cell phone video of the incident has surfaced. The footage has not been made public, but sources tell MPR News that it shows Smith pointing a gun at officers and exchanging gunfire with them.
Resident of tiny home village welcomes safety, security, stability of Avivo
The city of Minneapolis wants to build a second facility made up of indoor tiny homes, called Avivo Village. The first-of-its kind location opened almost three years ago in the North Loop neighborhood near downtown Minneapolis inside a warehouse that now includes 100 tiny homes.
