Teen faces felony in Metro Transit driver assault

The charge comes days after the boy allegedly hit the bus driver after the driver told him and a group of other teenagers at Southdale mall in Edina they couldn't board the bus.

Minneapolis moves to ban plastic bags

Under a new city ordinance, retailers can offer paper, reusable or compostable bags. They can either charge customers at least 5 cents per bag, or the retailer can pay the same fee to a litter cleanup nonprofit.
