A major winter storm
The incoming storm is going to provide a disruptive snowfall. Metro area snowfalls by tomorrow morning should range from around 5 inches in the northern suburbs to close to 10 inches in the far southern areas.
Storm warning in effect until Wednesday morning
A winter storm warning is in effect for the Twin Cities, southeastern Minnesota and western Wisconsin from 9 a.m. Tuesday to 6 a.m. Wednesday. Snowfall totals in the Twin Cities could range from 4 to 6 inches in the far northwest corner of the metro to 8 to 11 inches in the southeast metro by the time the snow tapers off on Wednesday morning.
