The strongest thunderstorms missed the Twin Cities Saturday night, so we saw metro rainfall amounts generally under one half of an inch. The heaviest rain in the metro area fell over southern portions of Scott and Dakota counties. Much higher rainfall amounts were recorded over southern Minnesota, including 6.18 inches in Fairmont.
