It explores his childhood growing up in New York and his political activism during college and throughout his adult life.
Aspen Ideas Festival: First lady Laura Bush on empowering women and girls
Former first lady Laura Bush talks about her work to educate and empower women and girls in Afghanistan, Egypt and Tunisia. Mrs. Bush says when half a country's population is left out, it's a failed country. She spoke at the 2016 Aspen Ideas Festival along with Mina Sherzoy, the founder of the Afghan Women's Business Federation.
