Light rail cash in limbo as Minnesota lawmakers talk transit
State lawmakers will soon decide whether the Southwest Corridor light rail project remains on track as they negotiate a larger transportation funding bill. Some $900 million in federal funding hangs in the balance.
Before the song was written the show was going to be called "Kotter," but the producers liked the song so much that they changed the name of the series to "Welcome Back, Kotter."
Prince bill racing through Legislature despite concerns
Prince's name, likeness, voice and even that unpronounceable symbol could be afforded special protection under legislation speeding through the Minnesota Legislature. Some, though, worry the hasty consideration could pose problems.
Warrant: Minnesota doctor saw Prince, prescribed drugs
Investigators interviewed the doctor and searched a suburban Minneapolis hospital where he worked. The warrant did not specify what medications were prescribed for Prince or whether he took them.
