Gov. Mark Dayton has asked the U.S. Department of Homeland Security again for an extension on the state’s compliance with new federal drivers’ license requirements.
The House Republican budget blueprint proposes no net increase in state spending. And it sets aside the entire $900 million surplus to cut taxes and fund transportation.
