The Centers for Disease Control says it’s lifting screening restrictions to speed up testing of people who are afraid they have the virus even if their symptoms are mild. The question of who gets tested — and when — has drawn scrutiny in recent days as the U.S. death toll and the number of COVID-19 cases have increased.
MPR News host Kerri Miller talked with an epidemiologist about the latest guidelines on testing people for the virus.
