St. Paul schools invite public input
The St. Paul School District wants the public's input on a far-reaching plan called "Large Scale System Change" - so it's holding six meetings across the city over the next month.
About half of school levies pass in Minnesota
Voters in more than 50 school districts throughout Minnesota faced questions on the ballot Tuesday regarding school funding. Most of those questions asked for a property tax increase, and the results have come in almost split.
The results of school levies and bonds in Minnesota Tuesday were almost evenly split. So far, 35 of the questions have passed; 38 have failed. Results aren't known yet in three districts, including three questions in Duluth, because of precincts that haven't reported.
