Doctor who treated Prince agrees to $30K penalty for illegal prescription
The settlement involves a Minnesota doctor accused of illegally prescribing an opioid painkiller for Prince a week before the musician died from a fentanyl overdose. The Carver County Attorney's Office is expected to speak at 11:30 a.m. about any possible criminal charges tied to the inquiry.
