Rain to snow shot gives way to weekend sun

Our efficient rain soaker pulls out of Minnesota Friday with a mixed bag of departing rain and snow showers. Friday starts with a fresh coating of April snow in western Wisconsin. One more reminder that it's never safe to put that car snow brush away until at least May. Or is it June.

Thursday soaker, warmest Target Field opener Monday?

Waves of much needed rainfall rolls across Minnesota through Thursday. We'll take the moisture. Most of Minnesota still need anywhere from 2" to 5" of rainfall to recover from a drought that began last fall.
