Even in the dead of a Minnesota winter, fresh herbs can brighten and add life to a meal.
Amalia Moreno-Damgaard, chef and author, has been thinking about this after a trip to Southeast Asia. She was on the MPR Mekong River trip with host Angela Davis to Cambodia and Vietnam.
She shared more about the herbs she found there and how they compare with her own tradition in the kitchen.
