The U.S. Senate could vote as early as this week on several of President-elect Donald Trump’s Cabinet appointments.
Among the nominees are three figures from neighboring states:
Doug Burgum, former North Dakota governor, nominated for interior secretary.
Sean Duffy, former Wisconsin Republican congressman and Fox News host, nominated for transportation secretary.
Kristi Noem, South Dakota governor, nominated for Homeland Security secretary.
