Two people died in two shootings — minutes apart — in south Minneapolis on Monday night.
Minneapolis police Chief Brian O’Hara said investigators are working to determine whether the two shootings are related.
According to Minneapolis police, officers responded to a report of shots fired around 9 p.m. on the 3400 block of Third Avenue South. Officers found a man in his 20s suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound. He later died at a hospital.
About 10 minutes later, and less than a mile away, police responded to a report of a body being dumped from a vehicle in an alley on the 3100 block of Harriet Avenue. Officers found a man in his 30s with multiple gunshot wounds. He also later died at a hospital.
There were no arrests in either case at last report. The names of the men who died have not been released.
