“Yesterday was a heartbreaking day,” said Doug Peters, Prairie Heights Church executive director, during a service on Sunday. “There was a tragic event in our parking lot and somebody lost their life.”
Peters added he was thankful the building was closed at the time and acknowledged “there are friends and family that are hurting and grieving from yesterday’s events.”
