Castillo también dijo que bajo la nueva política, la oficina procesará visas para víctimas de delitos incluso si no están testificando en casos procesados ​​por la oficina del fiscal del condado.

Castillo agregó que la oficina está agilizando la producción de visas para las víctimas que están en peligro de deportación, y ya no revisará los antecedentes penales de las víctimas dado que el Departamento de Seguridad Nacional de EE. La oficina también brinda servicios para las víctimas que no hablan inglés.
