An MPR listener wanted to know: What are the recent climate trends for Minnesota? Retired meteorologist and climatologist Mark Seeley took to observing those trends.
Despite the cold snap felt for many Minnesotans across the early weeks of November, trends indicate that the month is up 2.6 degrees Fahrenheit over the past century. More so, November has been warmer than normal for 17 of the most recent 25 years, indicating a statistical trend upwards.
MPR News host Cathy Wurzer spoke with Seeley and the possibility of a warmer week ahead in their weather chat.
