La Raza Radio, displaced after Lake Street unrest, celebrates new home

There are still signs of destruction along Lake Street in Minneapolis, remnants of the riots that flared after the May 25 killing of George Floyd.

One of the buildings that went up in flames on the central business corridor housed the studios of La Raza Radio, one of the only Latino radio stations in the Twin Cities.

On Wednesday, the station’s managers will christen their brand-new studios in Richfield, Minn.
