Neil Gorsuch was sworn in this morning as the nation's 113th Supreme Court Justice. The ceremony comes after a contentious showdown in the Senate.

Democrats attempted to block Gorsuch's confirmation with a filibuster, but Republicans deployed the "nuclear option" which allowed them to force a vote and confirm the Supreme Court's newest member.

The political junkie, Ken Rudin, spoke with MPR News host Kerri Miller about the swearing in of Justice Gorsuch, the mixed reaction to President Trump's decision to launch 59 Tomahawk missiles into Syria and what's up next on the GOP agenda.
