During President Trump's first speech to Congress he called for massive increases in spending on infrastructure, looking to legislators to fund roughly $1 trillion in investment.

Last week, he even invoked the name of another Republican President, Eisenhower, saying, he "initiated the last truly great national infrastructure program: the building of the interstate highway system" and that "the time has come for a new program of national rebuilding."

But what will that rebuilding look like? Where will the $1 trillion dollars come from?

MPR News host Kerri Miller spoke with two transportation experts to deconstruct President Trump's infrastructure plan.
