Hotel company executive Jim Graves won the DFL endorsement Saturday in the state's 6th Congressional District to run against Republican Rep. Michele Bachmann.
Graves won with 67 percent of the vote. He told delegates in Blaine he'll deliver a win on Nov. 6.
"I want you to know that I take your endorsement to heart," he said. "I'm going to do everything I said I was going to do. I'm going to work every minute of every day until Nov 6. to bring you home a win. To bring us home a win. And I'm going to represent you with dignity, integrity and hard work."
Graves won the endorsement over employment consultant and activist Anne Nolan and real estate developer and small business owner Brian McGoldrick.

All the candidates said they'll abide by the party's endorsement.
Bachmann won the Republican endorsement in the 6th District Saturday.
"I am honored and excited to have the Republican endorsement for Minnesota's Sixth District," she wrote in a tweet. "Let's turn MN red in 2012! Will you join me?"
Neither Graves nor Bachmann currently lives in the 6th Congressional District.
