Good afternoon. In 2014, a St. Paul man got a misdemeanor for tweeting threats to St. Paul police. Good morning! Sunny, with highs in the 70s to 80s. Cooler up north. Speaking of which, something odd happened on the shore of Lake Superior Sunday: The temperature dropped 27 degrees in just 21 minutes. Why? Answer: Because Duluth is in Minnesota and in Minnesota, that's just how the weather is. Just kidding (well, it's sort of true, isn't it?) -- what actually happened was a cold front was wiggling through northeastern Minnesota and the winds shifted from west to northeast. When winds shift and start to come in off of the lake, temps can take a big drop in Duluth and along the north shore of Lake Superior. | Forecast | Updraft weather blog
