Morning Edition: Music

Bangles didn't love 'Walk Like an Egyptian'
Today's Morning Edition music is from the Bangles with "Walk Like an Egyptian." The song hit No. 1 on the billboard charts thirty years ago today. It would ultimately sell more than a million copies, becoming the most popular song of 1987.
Today's Morning Edition music is from the song "Just Like Christmas" from the Duluth-based band "Low." They're playing First Ave. in Minneapolis tomorrow night along with Hippo Campus, Gaelynn Lee, and others. It's a holiday benefit concert. Proceeds will go to Second Harvest Heartland.
