Best Buy, Supervalu end rocky year; what's in store for 2013?
It has been a very bad year for Best Buy and Supervalu, two of Minnesota's biggest public companies. Both stumbled badly in 2012, and questions persist about what will be left of each company a year from now.

Minneapolis voters will elect the city's first new mayor in more than a decade next year. Mayor R.T. Rybak's announcement that he will not seek a fourth term will unleash a flood of pent up political ambition. Within hours of the announcement, candidates were already lining up to take Rybak's place.
