Army Corps prepares to take on huge Red River diversion project
A $1.4 billion project that would divert floodwaters from the Red River around the Fargo-Moorhead area is the largest, most complex project ever undertaken by the Army Corps of Engineers in this region. Some design elements of the 36-mile diversion channel have never been used before.
