New women's soccer team raises $1 million in investment from Minnesotans

A bunch of ordinary people in Minnesota and beyond just invested $1 million in a new women’s soccer team. The yet-to-be-named Minnesota club will compete in the USL W League, which is set to launch in 2022. Anyone can buy shares in the team.

Andrea Yoch, the president of Minnesota Women’s Soccer, spoke with host Cathy Wurzer several months ago when the team was first announced.
