Earlier this year, longtime First Avenue Stage Manager Conrad Sverkerson suffered a severe back injury, which left him out of work and without a paycheck for several weeks. "Conrad," as many refer to him, has become a beloved figure in the local scene by providing a friendly calm amid the chaos of the region's best-known nightclub.
