The Okee Dokee Brothers won in the Best Children's Album category for their 2012 album "Can You Canoe?" The Brothers, Denver-born, Minneapolis-based friends and musicians Joe Mailander and Justin Lansing, were awarded the Grammy in the pre-telecast portion of the ceremony.

Representatives of the locked-out musicians of the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra say they continue to have objections to a compensation package proposed by management.
After life as a Pulitzer Prize-winning play and then an Oscar-nominated film, "Doubt" by John Patrick Shanley will have its world premiere as an opera this weekend in St. Paul. Shanley, who wrote the libretto for the Minnesota Opera production, said it is the most complete telling of his story about a priest accused of impropriety.
His six-piece horn section marched out NOLA-style, cycling through a funky, complex melody, followed by a drummer, bassist, guitarist, and three back-up singers. Prince himself emerged on the dark stage soon after. Andrea Swensson, of The Local Current blog, talked about the show with Morning Edition host Cathy Wurzer.
