The Minnesota Vikings season came to a crashing halt on Monday night, but despite the team’s loss to the Los Angeles Rams one Vikings fan had his dream come true.

Seven-year-old Daxton Schoenleben went viral on TikTok after his dad, Jake, surprised him with tickets to Vikings game in Arizona on Monday.

“Ever since that ‘Receiver’ show came out, he became the biggest Justin Jefferson fan,” Jake Schoenleben said.

And although the Vikings didd’t pull off a win, they made certain to make Daxton’s first game special.

“Then they showed up at halftime. They gave him a hat. They gave him a big chain,” Jake Schoenleben said. “Even though in between the gifts, he was pretty pouty and upset. They were able to give him a pretty big smile throughout the game.”

Jake Schoenleben is a lifetime Vikings fan, who attended at least once a year with dad growing up. After moving to Arizona three years ago, he hadn’t been able to catch a game. But Monday presented an opportunity. It became the first time Jake, his dad, and his son, Daxton, could all go to a game together.

“We kind of felt like it was a home game,” Jake Schoenleben said.
