It has been an unseasonably warm start to December, with several Minnesota cities breaking daily record high temperatures.
According to retired climatologist and meteorologist Mark Seeley, forecast models show the rest of the month will be milder than normal with rain rather than snow on the horizon.
MPR News host Cathy Wurzer spoke with Seeley about why the warm weather is sticking around, the likelihood of winter storms and new climate records in their weekly weather chat.
