Dry and warm November stands out against recent years
Although it may not have felt like that warm, Thursday concluded one of the warmest Novembers since 1895.
According to retired meteorologist and climatologist Mark Seeley approximately two-thirds of days in the month were warmer than normal.
Conversely, precipitation across the state was seeing a downward trend with only northeastern counties reporting less than two inches of total rainfall. Similarly, snowfall has been below average as well, reporting less than one inch.
