The latest drought monitor shows some relief from extremely dry conditions that have plagued Minnesota for the past several months, thanks in part to showers across the state.

September was the hottest on record, with dozens of new daily maximum temperatures set across Minnesota, along with dozens of rainfall records mostly in the northeast.
