Late May has felt like early July as warm and muggy temperatures dominate recent forecasts. One MPR News listener wanted to know how this Spring’s high temps compared to others.

According to retired University of Minnesota climatologist and meteorologist Mark Seeley, May 2023 was the sixth warmest in the state’s history and the second warmest in history for the Red River Valley.

MPR News host Cathy Wurzer spoke with Mark Seeley about the humid temperatures and other weather anomalies that occurred this season.
