40 years ago, massive Thanksgiving fire destroyed a block of downtown Minneapolis

The scene of a fire that destroyed the Northwestern National Bank building and the former Donaldson's Department Store in downtown Minneapolis in 1982. It started late on Nov. 25 and burned overnight into Nov. 26.
