The big weather topic recently has been this year’s cold spring – but it’s also been unusually windy in Minnesota so far this year.
According to retired University of Minnesota climatologist and meteorologist Mark Seeley, more than 60 percent of days in January through April brought wind gusts greater than 30 m.p.h., compared to 25 percent of days normally.
MPR News host Cathy Wurzer talked with Seeley about the wind and other weather topics in their regular Friday chat.
