A temporary COVID-19 testing site remains open Thursday at the Thief River Falls Armory in northwestern Minnesota.
Health officials are worried about a dramatic surge in cases there recently. Over the past week, Pennington County — which includes Thief River Falls — has been averaging more new cases per capita than any other county in the state.
