A key health committee in the Minnesota Senate convened Monday to review Minnesota’s COVID-19 vaccine rollout so far.

The state passed a milestone last week, with more than 100,000 Minnesotans having received their first dose. But some say the process is not going quickly enough.

MPR News host Cathy Wurzer talked with state Sen. Michelle Benson, R-Ham Lake, before the hearing. Benson chairs the Senate’s Health and Human Services Finance and Policy Committee.
