Minnesota’s busiest state park reopens after flood cleanup
Visitors were back at Fort Snelling State Park within hours of reopening

Mud and flood debris covered a trail at Fort Snelling State Park on May 23, 2019. Record flooding left the park covered with silt and sediment, damaged roads and inundated some park buildings. It reopened Tuesday, just in time for the fall colors to start to turn.
