The latest report from Minnesota wildflower scouts Kelly Povo and Phyllis Root comes from the Falls Creek Scientific and Natural Area near Scandia, where they went looking for the late-summer blooms of downy rattlesnake plantains.

Povo and Root are the authors of the book “Searching for Minnesota’s Native Wildflowers.”
