What the Green Line schedule change means for homeless riders

As of Monday, Green Line trains between Minneapolis and St. Paul are no longer operating all night long. They stop running between 2:00 a.m. and 4:00 a.m. on weekdays.

The schedule change is impacting homeless riders who had been using the trains as a place to shelter overnight. MPR News host Cathy Wurzer spoke with Monica Nilsson, a longtime advocate for homeless people in Minnesota, about the situation.
