As of Monday, Green Line trains between Minneapolis and St. Paul are no longer operating all night long. They stop running between 2:00 a.m. and 4:00 a.m. on weekdays.
The schedule change is impacting homeless riders who had been using the trains as a place to shelter overnight. MPR News host Cathy Wurzer spoke with Monica Nilsson, a longtime advocate for homeless people in Minnesota, about the situation.
