It's been 20 years since "That is Doo Wop (That Thing) by Lauryn Hill topped the Billboard pop chart.

The song was the lead single from her debut solo album "The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill." It serves as a warning to men who are more interested in frivolous, expensive things than their girlfriends or families — and with it, Hill became the first woman since Debbie Gibson to debut at number one with a song she wrote, produced and recorded herself.
