The historic Sheldon Theatre in Red Wing, Minn., reopened over the weekend following a monthslong renovation.
Much of the project involved historic conservation of the 114-year-old facility.
New features include a studio space on the third floor, a new green room and bathrooms that are easier to use for people with disabilities.
Theater executive director Bonnie Schock said that the renovations will allow the theater to operate into the future.
"This is a significant moment in the city of Red Wing and in the history of this space."
